These terms and conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the services provided by Elegalis Legal Services through the website www.punerentagreement.in (referred to as the “Website”). By accessing or using the Website, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with these Terms, you must not use the Website.
1. Services Provided
a. We offer assistance with the preparation and registration of rent agreements for both residential and commercial properties.
b. Our services include the drafting of rent agreements in accordance with government regulations, biometric verification of parties involved, and submission of documents to the appropriate authorities for registration.
2. Document Requirements
a. For Owners: PAN card and AADHAR card are required. For Tenants: AADHAR card is required. Witnesses must also possess AADHAR cards.
b. Rented Property: Index II or Electricity Bill is required.
c. In case of Power of Attorney holder: Soft copy of power of attorney documents is required.
d. For entities other than individuals (e.g., Companies/Partnerships): Authorization letter is required.
3. Document Submission
a. Hard copy documents are not required. Documents can be submitted via Whatsapp or email for faster processing.
b. Users can also fill out the online form provided on the Website.
c. We confirm that documents will be deleted/discarded as per our privacy policy.
4. Biometric Verification
a. Biometric verification is mandatory for all parties involved in the registration of rent agreements, as per government regulations.
b. Doorstep service is available for tenant biometric verification across India.
c. For owner biometric verification outside India, remote support or couriered biometric devices are available at additional charges.
5. Payment
a. Rent agreement charges are calculated based on rent, deposit, and duration. Government registration charges and our service charges remain the same.
b. Government fees must be paid at the time of booking the appointment for biometric verification. The remaining amount should be paid during the biometric process.
c. Refunds are not applicable after paying government fees. In case of cancellation, users are responsible for arranging refunds from the Pune IGR department.
6. Renewal and Extension
a. We provide assistance with rent agreement renewal or extension upon expiration of the current agreement.
b. The renewal process is similar to starting a fresh agreement, and biometric verification may be required.
7. Privacy and Security
a. We take data privacy and security seriously and employ encryption technologies and secure servers to safeguard user data.
b. Personal information provided by users is not shared with unauthorized third parties. For more details, refer to our Privacy Policy on the Website.
8. Changes to Terms
a. We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time without prior notice. Users are encouraged to review these Terms periodically for any changes.
